About Andy Parsons
Andy Parsons is an elite Sharp-witted comedian and writer, widely celebrated for his long-standing role as a regular panellist on the BBC’s Mock the Week. His career in political satire began with writing credits for legendary programmes such as Spitting Image, Smith and Jones, and Weekending. Since then, he has established himself as a premier live performer, appearing on Live at the Apollo and QI, while also hosting his own respected political podcast, Slacktivist Action Group, at London’s Soho Theatre.
Beyond his television success, Parsons is a multi-award-winning stand-up who secured the Time Out Comedy Award in 2002. His collaboration with Henry Naylor produced nine successful series of Parsons and Naylor’s Pull-Out Sections for BBC Radio 2, alongside international tours that visited major festivals in Melbourne, Sydney, and Montreal. Further demonstrating his versatility, he has fronted The PMQ show on BBC Radio 5 Live and navigated the treacherous Road of Bones in Siberia for the BBC series World's Most Dangerous Roads.
As a stalwart of the Comedy Store’s Cutting Edge team, Parsons remains at the forefront of topical commentary. Audiences book him for his unrivalled ability to dissect current affairs with a blend of irreverent cynicism and masterful delivery, making him a perennial favourite for corporate events and keynote comedy slots.
On stage, Andy Parsons is best known for talks on Comedy, Satire and Political Commentary. Audiences leave with a clear, practical view of the subject rather than a generic overview — every keynote is shaped around the brief and the room.
Their work resonates with leaders across Comedy and Entertainment, where the themes translate directly into team decisions, customer experience and growth strategy.
Andy Parsons is regularly booked for Performers and Entertainer and After Dinner Speaker, adapting tone, length and format to suit the event — from a 20-minute opener to a full conference keynote with Q&A.
