About Louise Minchin
Louise Minchin is a highly respected journalist and broadcaster who spent two decades as a lead presenter on BBC Breakfast. Throughout her tenure, she anchored major news bulletins for BBC One and the BBC News Channel, becoming a familiar presence in British households. Her career began at the BBC World Service and the Today programme, leading to significant roles on Radio 5 Live and fronting popular television series such as Real Rescues, Missing Live, and Crime and Punishment. More recently, she joined the presenting team of the consumer rights programme Rip Off Britain in early 2025.
Beyond the newsroom, Louise is a dedicated endurance athlete who has represented Great Britain at the World and European Triathlon Championships. Her passion for physical challenges has seen her complete the gruelling Norseman triathlon and trek across the Namibian desert. She has channelled these experiences into her writing, authoring Dare to Tri and Fearless, whilst hosting the podcasts Her Spirit and Push Your Peak. These platforms allow her to explore the intersection of mental resilience and physical performance by interviewing individuals who have achieved extraordinary feats.
Having transitioned from high-pressure live broadcasting to the world of competitive sport, Louise offers a unique perspective on motivation and wellbeing. She is booked for her ability to engage audiences with professional warmth and her deep understanding of what it takes to thrive under scrutiny and overcome personal boundaries.
On stage, Louise Minchin is best known for talks on Television Presenting, Women in Sports, Health and Wellbeing and Motivation and Resilience. Audiences leave with a clear, practical view of the subject rather than a generic overview — every keynote is shaped around the brief and the room.
Their work resonates with leaders across Health & Wellbeing, Media & Broadcasting and Motivational Speaking, where the themes translate directly into team decisions, customer experience and growth strategy.
Louise Minchin is regularly booked for Presenter & Awards Host and Motivational Speaker, adapting tone, length and format to suit the event — from a 20-minute opener to a full conference keynote with Q&A.
Based in UK, Louise Minchin travels internationally for engagements.
